We are a local authority maintained Nursery providing high-quality early education for children from the age of three in a safe and caring environment.

The vision and values of Freshfield Primary School are the same for our Nursery. We support the children in our care to become confident, self-motivated and independent learners and offer a stimulating environment with a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities.

Our expansive outside area provides an exciting and stimulating environment allowing the children to use their imagination, creativity and curiosity to lead the way in their own learning.

We run a number of stay and play sessions throughout the year where parents and carers are invited into school to take part in activities with their child based around a specific area of learning.

If you are entitled to 30 hours free childcare, we offer:

Monday to Friday all day 8.45 am to 3.15 pm

If you are entitled to 15 hours free childcare, we offer:

Monday & Tuesday all day 8.45 am - 3.15 pm & Wednesday morning  8.45 am - 11.45 am

                                                or

Wednesday afternoon 12.15 pm - 3.15 pm & all day Thursday & Friday 8.45 am to 3.15 pm

There is also the opportunity to pay for wraparound care in Field Days, our Breakfast and After School Club at a cost of £5 for breakfast (from 7.30 am) and £10 for after school club (until 6.00 pm).
