A child’s hair is a very important part of their presentation.  Long hair should be tied back neatly with a bobble so that it not covering the child’s eyes. Hair bobbles, bands and clips should be understated and in school colours of green, grey or white).  Please note bandanas are not acceptable.

Hair styles should be of a standard style; extreme haircuts e.g. mohicans, shaved symbols or designs are not permitted.

Swimming shorts, sun suits and bikinis/tankinis are not permitted by our swimming providers.

Jewellery/Valuables/Tattoos/Medical bracelets

Items of value such as jewellery, expensive watches and pen sets should not be brought into School.

Jewellery including ear studs should not be worn in School at any time as they are considered a safety hazard.   If you do intend to have your child’s ears pierced, this should be carried out at the beginning of the summer holidays.  A grace period of between 6 weeks and 3 months from the date of the piercing will be offered to allow for newly-pierced ears to heal before the earrings need to be removed.  During this time, parents are responsible for covering the earrings front and back each day for school to enable children to take part in all activities.  Please note however that Active Aquatics (our swimming providers) do not allow earrings and therefore your child will not be able to take part in swimming lessons whilst wearing earrings (even if they are covered).

Children should not wear nail varnish, make-up or any tattoos including the stick-on variety.  The wearing of an analogue watch is acceptable to support children learning to tell the time.

Children with serious medical problems may wear warning bracelets if deemed necessary by the parents.
